To write like you!

My friend Salil!
are you disabled ?
Or more able ?
Pictures, videos and views
flood Saliloqy regularly.
and I, envy you
for what you can do.

Because when we write
the experience grows
a great deal more
in richness and texture,
when , once again you visit
the scared space .
The hues and tones
you bring with you ,each time
will cast a shadow
or just make them brighter
what once you wrote
in feeling mode.

How often we remember
what was once recorded.
Precious moments
now forgotten.
And some day
we come back and look
at the old book
and wipe the dust
to bring alive
what seemed dead.

Such is the power
of written text
and Salil my friend,
this ,you do ,rather well.

Gosh, Mala! I didn't know you had blogged about me! Thanks for the words of encouragement. I absolutely loved your short poems. Rainbow drops? silver alloy moon? I laughed and I warmed...to use your phrase. Cheers.
Salil.

Thanks Salil , finally you read what I wrote for you. Sheer diffidence or is it that you learn the art of patience when you blog. You have to wait for people to come to you.

Unlike a letter that comes straight to your hands ; or is infront on the screen.lv
